Root Canal Therapy

Relieve pain and save your natural tooth.

What is a Root Canal?

Root canal therapy is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected. Aside from relieving pain, the procedure saves the tooth and prevents the need for extraction.

Signs You May Need a Root Canal

  • Severe toothache pain upon chewing or application of pressure.
  • Prolonged sensitivity to heat or cold temperatures.
  • Discoloration (darkening) of the tooth.
  • Swelling and tenderness in nearby gums.

Modern root canal treatment is very similar to a routine filling and usually can be completed in one or two appointments.
